Our little ones appetites and taste buds are changing on a weekly or even daily basis. Let me know the changes in your child's diet, or current likes and dislikes, so that I can accommodate their needs. We record your child's daily intake, incase a food allergy arises and so you can plan your dinner accordingly. Please label any food, or sippy cup you bring for your child. (I will have markers and masking tape in-case)
Prevent Infectious Diseases
Wash hands or sanitize.
- entering and exiting facility (due to COVID)
- before and after meals
- after outdoor play
- after bathroom use
- after nose wiping
Toys that have been soiled will be put in a wash bucket out of reach. Other handled toys are cleaned on a daily basis with a bleach solution, dishwasher, soap and warm water. Plush toys are rotated out of use for 3 days.
Illness policy
Children will be isolated until parents can pick up their child, if they have one or many of the following symptoms: Fever, Vomiting, Diarrhea; Parents will be called if their child can not participate in every day activities.
* 24 hours symptom and medication free, before returning to Parkview Play School.
In Case of an Emergency
You will be contacted at the earliest convenience if your child has been hurt or if we have evacuated the school.
- An ambulance will be called first if necessary and parents will be contacted soon after.
- We have emergency and shelter in-place plans and will practice drills 8 times a year, to feel confident.
- First aid supplies, blankets, water and food rations are conveniently accessible in case of a disaster
